Here at Compac we have had a number of new faces around lately, and we thought it was high time we introduced some of the new team to you. Here is a little about them, who they are and what they can do for you!

Stephen Couch – Spare Parts Manager
Stephen joined us a couple of months ago, and his role will involve working closely with the Technical Services Team, Stores, Factory and Sales. He will be reporting to Vernon Sutton, our Technical Manager, and assisted by Shahariar. “My main aims at Compac are to make it as easy for our customers to deal with us and aim to have the right part required delivered on time”. Stephen has comes from a background in mainly forklifts and construction equipment – having had 15 years experience as a Parts/Product Manager, and a grand total of around 25 years parts experience altogether, in everything from watches to road trucks. 

Wilson Yu – Assistant Production Engineer
Wilson has been with Compac since the beginning of 2008, so while not technically new, has recently been promoted from Electronic Technician to Assistant Production Engineer and this is definitely worth a mention! In his new role, Wilson will be working as part of the production team assisting Graham Scott, our Production Engineer, in all aspects of his work. Prior to joining Compac, Wilson studied Engineering at AUT.

Jon Redwood – International Business Development Manager
Jon joined the Sales team at the end of September in order to develop new business opportunities in the international market for Compac technology. “Compac is a team of talented people who do what it takes, focus on what they do well and have earned the successes they now enjoy in the global market. My goal is to build on the success and explore the new opportunities to strengthen what has already been established”.  Previously, Jon was with Gallagher Group of Companies, a perimeter security solutions manufacturer, for 15 years, working in a number of management positions. Most recently Jon worked in International Business Management and through his work was fortunate enough to live and travel around the US for 9 years. He has a wealth of knowledge in international business and technology. He enjoys travelling, entertaining and experiencing different cultures around the world. Eleanor Drake – Sales & Marketing Assistant
Eleanor has been with Compac since early October, and will be supporting the International Sales team with everything including Orders & quotes, Website updates, Trade shows and Promotional materials, to mention a few! Eleanor joins us from Purina Petcare, where she enjoyed taking her Bernese Mountain dog ‘Max’ to work on special occasions, and prior to that studied Marketing at Otago University.
