Compac had good cause to celebrate recently, with the news that their 100th Iranian dispenser was finalised and ready for shipping, heading for Tehran, Iran.
This dispenser was the last of a large order placed through Iranian agent, Zogico, for 100 Compac Laser dispensers, for new customer Tam Iran Khodro, the Middle East’s largest auto parts supplier. The dispensers will be used in the many new CNG stations currently being built in Iran, due to recent high growth levels of CNG vehicle production and sales in the Iranian market.
Compac worked hard to have the dispensers ready for Tam Iran within the space of several months. This involved the dispensers being manufactured and shipped in 6 lots over time, the first of which were dispatched on 29th August 2008.
This is the first time Compac equipment has been used in Iran, with successful results– Tam Iran have already placed another order with Compac for 33 more Dispensers, which will be shipped to Iran over the next few weeks. We look forward to more successes and news to follow, as the Iranian CNG industry continues to thrive throughout 2009.
