The team at Compac Industries have recently returned from New Delhi where NGV India, South Asia’s largest International event for the Natural Gas Industry, was held from 24th-25th March – the first show of its kind for India.

Compac had a stand at the show, showcasing a range of  their quality CNG products including the ever popular Laser dispenser as the focal point for the stand, a KG80 master meter, Hydraulic module and a C4000 Electronic head. Compac representatives Roger Kleyer, Jon Redwood, Michael Ebeyer and Tim Mayson worked the stand, keeping themselves busy by catching up with both new and existing customers mainly from India and fielding a wide range of queries from visitors.

Reliable Engineering, Compac’s Indian representative, also gave a helping hand over the 3 days at the show, which was greatly appreciated by all. Compac was established in India in 2000 through Reliable, when executives from the Indian company recognised a significant opportunity developing in alternate fuels. Jon Redwood, Compac’s International BDM, spent several weeks prior to the show in India exploring business opportunities with Varun Sethi of Reliable. Jon said “It was great to have the Reliable team join us on the stand, offering their experience and advice to the visitors. We really appreciate their long-standing commitment to the Compac brand and technology and that they have steadfastly participated in this market”.

Tim Mayson, Sales Engineer for Compac, commented on the success of the NGV India as a whole, and how smoothly it went for everyone involved. He saw huge opportunities for CNG emerge from his time there, “Everyone at the show was very excited about future prospects for CNG within the Indian market. We are going to see the development of the Indian CNG industry flourish over the next few years providing massive gains for the economy and the environment.”
